What to include

01

Page URL

The CYA page where the issue appears.

02

Platform name

The platform record affected by the correction.

03

Claim

The date, status, outcome, event, terms-risk interpretation, or source that appears wrong or incomplete.

04

Sources

Official statements, court documents, regulatory notices, archived pages, or reputable reporting.

01

Preferred sources

Official statements, court and bankruptcy documents, regulatory notices, archived website captures, and high-quality reporting are preferred over unsourced summaries or isolated social posts.

02

What CYA may change

A correction can update entity facts, chronology, customer outcome, terms risk, URL or archive status, evidence links, reliability labels, or uncertainty notes.

03

Uncertainty is allowed

If available sources do not support a final conclusion, the record should remain unknown, unresolved, or medium confidence rather than being forced into a stronger claim.
